What Is the Welcome Home Powwow?

Welcome Home Powwow 2026 is an inter-tribal cultural gathering organized and hosted by Tallbull Group at Tallbull Grounds in Douglas County, Colorado. It is one of the most significant events in the region — bringing together dancers, drum groups, families, vendors, and communities for a celebration of living American Indian culture.

Dancers participate in elaborately hand-crafted regalia, each style carrying its own deep history and spiritual meaning. Drum groups provide the heartbeat of the gathering, their songs passed across generations. The Tallbull Powwow is open to participants and respectful spectators from all backgrounds.
