WHO WE ARE

Tallbull Group — A Mission. Not Just a Name

The Engine Behind the Mission

THE ORGANIZATION

Tallbull Group is a Native-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2025 in Denver, Colorado. We exist for one purpose: to ensure that American Indian culture, ceremony, and community not only survive — but thrive. We do this through programs, events, youth outreach, and the stewardship of our sacred home base, Tallbull Grounds.

We are not a museum. We are not a monument. We are an active, living organization — building the infrastructure for Indigenous culture to carry itself forward with power and dignity for generations to come.

Tallbull Grounds- Where the Work Happens

OUR HOME BASE

The Tallbull Group operates out of Tallbull Grounds — a 176-acre property in Colorado’s Front Range, with 74 internal acres designated as protected cultural grounds. This is where our powwows are held, where youth programs meet the land, and where ceremonies take place in the presence of the mountains.

The park is the private, sacred operating base of the Tallbull Group. It is not open to walk-in visitors. All access to Tallbull Grounds requires advance reservation and approval from our organization.

Scenic landscape with green grass, bushes, and trees in the foreground, rolling hills, mountains in the background, and a blue sky with scattered clouds.

Why Tallbull?

THE NAME

The Tallbull name carries a legacy of Indigenous strength, leadership, and resilience. The Tallbull Group was founded in honor of this lineage — and as a commitment to upholding what it represents. Our organization, our park, and our work are all expressions of that responsibility.

“This land was not created to be looked at from the outside. It was created to be lived in — by our people, for our people, and for all who come with open hearts.”
